We are moving...
As of December 2008 we are moving premises to Ensor Mill, Queensway, Castleton. The new site is a 9000 square foot unit less than half a mile from the old site.
Geoff Clayton from Custom Composites said
"We had been manufacturing from Hugo Street for 27 years and we got to the point where we out-grew the old premises. Our new site has given us a blank canvas to streamline our production processes and expand our business".
New Ownership...
In June 2008 the Attwater Group purchased Custom Composites Ltd. The Attwater Group are the UK's longest established manufacturer and machinist of industrial laminate sheet, tube and rod.
Dave Taylor from Custom Composites Ltd said "We have been working closely with the Attwater Group for many years. Our product ranges are very similar, and our range of tube compliment Attwater Group's range of laminate very well. We are extremely excited about this deal and the prospect of combining our knowledge for future projects".
How does this affect our existing customers?...
It doesn't. Custom Composites Ltd will continue to trade as normal, using our existing workforce and existing machines. Keep checking back on this news page as we are planning significant investment in the next few years.
